Terms and Conditions
Payment and cancellations
Full payment is required prior to attending a retreat. Retreat payment does not include transport to or from the retreat
Should you need to cancel your booking the following policy will be applied:
More than ten weeks’ notice before the booked retreat: you will receive a full refund.
Between ten and six weeks from the booked retreat: you are entitled to a 50 per cent refund. Alternatively, Reading Retreats Australia (RRA) will work with you to find you a mutually convenient alternative retreat, or to transfer the booking to another person known to you.
Within six weeks of the booked retreat: RRA is unable to offer a refund. However, RRA will endeavour to resell your booking and, if successful, RRA will provide you with a refund to the amount which the booking is resold. Wherever possible, RRA will work with you to find a mutually convenient alternative retreat, or to transfer the booking to another person known to you.
Cancellations by Reading Retreats Australia
RRA will do everything to ensure that retreats take place on the planned dates, at the location advertised. However, where this becomes impractical due to circumstances beyond RRA’s control, including: weather events; public health emergencies; where the accommodation cancels the RRA booking; or where bookings are insufficient to justify continuing the retreat, RRA may cancel or rearrange the retreat at its discretion. In such cases where a retreat is cancelled:
RRA will refund the total amount of payment which it has received from you in respect of the retreat, less any previously processed refunds.
Cancellations based on low bookings will not take place within 8 weeks prior to the retreat taking place. Cancellations within this period will only ever take place for circumstances beyond RRA’s control. Wherever possible, RRA will work with you to find a mutually convenient alternative retreat.
